
What We Do: LGBTQ Community Counseling
The Umbrella Community Counseling Project is committed to providing quality and affordable mental health services in the Portland Metro LGBTQ community. All services are offered with an understanding of an sensitivity to issues specific to LGBTQ communities. Umbrella strives to empower LGBTQ individuals to take action toward building and sustaining health, wholeness, and well-being.
Umbrella celebrates and supports LGBTQ communities.
Umbrella provides affordable, sliding-scale counseling to LGBTQ people of all ages, and FREE counseling to LGBTQ youth 17 and younger. OHP payments are also accepted. Sliding scale is a system in which fees are based on income. For LGBTQ individuals age 18-23, our sliding scale begins at $10 per session, and for people ages 24 and up our sliding scale begins at $20 per session.
